The ICS Triplex T8090M (Workstation 1.0 MED) is a legacy hardware and software toolset component for the
Trusted TMR System. It was historically utilized in critical industrial environments (such as oil & gas and petrochemicals)
to build, deploy, and monitor configuration programs for fault-tolerant safety controllers.
Product Applications
Petrochemical and Refinery Plants: Used in Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems for crude oil catalytic cracking
and hydrocracking units. Once gas pressure or temperature exceeds critical values, the T8090M's configured control
will forcibly shut off valves to prevent catastrophic consequences.
Coal and Nuclear Power Plants: Serves as the safety brain in the boiler furnace safety monitoring system (BMS) and
turbine emergency trip system (ETS), ensuring that high-temperature, high-pressure steam is maintained within safe
ranges.
Fine Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plants: Manages the interlocking control of batch reactors. When a chemical reaction
goes out of control, the system automatically injects a stop agent or opens a pressure relief valve.
Offshore Drilling Platforms and Oilfields: Used for fire and gas (FGS) protection and detection on space-constrained,
harsh-environment offshore platforms, enabling integrated land-sea alarm systems.
