The ICS Triplex T7481 Monitored Guarded Output Module is a high-integrity digital output module used in Trusted™ and
fault-tolerant safety systems for critical control and shutdown applications. The module provides 16 monitored output
channels arranged in two groups of eight channels and supports output voltages from 18 to 36 VDC. Certified for Safety
Risk Class 5 applications, the T7481 is suitable for both single-module and dual-module safety architectures, providing
reliable de-energize-to-trip functionality for safety-critical processes.
With a load capability of up to 2 A per channel, integrated fuse protection, fast 0.5 ms switching response, and
2500 V isolation, the module delivers dependable performance in demanding industrial environments. Advanced
output monitoring continuously checks field circuits and helps detect load or fuse faults, enhancing system availability
and operational safety. The T7481 is widely deployed in emergency shutdown (ESD), fire and gas, turbine control, and
safety instrumented systems (SIS) across the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and process industries.
