The ICS Triplex T9881 Analog Output FTA (Field Termination Assembly) Module is a versatile field interface solution
used in Trusted™ safety and control systems for managing analog and digital input/output signals. The module integrates
8 analog input channels, 4 analog output channels, 16 digital input channels, and 16 digital output channels, providing
a compact and efficient platform for signal acquisition, control, and field device interfacing.
With 12-bit resolution for both analog inputs and outputs, the T9881 delivers accurate signal processing for industrial
and process control applications. The module supports both voltage and current signal types, enabling compatibility with
a wide range of sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control devices. Powered by a 24 VDC supply, it offers
reliable performance and seamless integration into Trusted™ TMR architectures.
Product Applications
Large power plants: Used for generator set control, turbine protection, boiler safety instrumented systems (SIS),
and emergency shutdown systems (ESD).
Oil and gas extraction plants: Deployed on offshore drilling platforms, wellhead control in oil production plants, and
long-distance pressurization stations for oil pipelines.
Petrochemical and coal chemical plants: Used for reactor temperature/pressure control, emergency shut-off of toxic
and hazardous gases, and explosion-proof critical valves.
Iron and steel metallurgical plants: Critical control nodes in high-temperature and high-electromagnetic-
interference environments, such as blast furnace control systems and large rolling mill production lines.
Shipbuilding and heavy shipbuilding plants: Used for monitoring and safety interlocking control of the main propulsion
systems of large ocean-going vessels.
Paper and cement plants: Used for precise process control such as slurry proportioning or kiln speed on large
continuous production lines.
