The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. 

The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute's (API)670 Standard 

for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mmproximity transducer 

systems provide this level ofperformance and support complete interchangeability ofprobes, extension cables, and 

Proximitor sensors, eliminatingthe need to match or bench calibrate individual components.
Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component isbackward compatible and interchangeable4 with other non-XL 

3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer systemcomponents5. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, 

for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too largefor the available mounting space6,7.

Product Applications

Petrochemical & Refinery: Applied to catalytic cracking fans, hydrogenation high-pressure high-power centrifugal 

compressors, and crude oil transportation pumps.
Power Plants - Thermal & Nuclear: Applied to steam turbine power generation units, gas turbines, large boiler 

feedwater pumps, and induced draft fans.
Chemical Plants: Applied to cracking gas compressors in ammonia synthesis and ethylene plants, natural gas compressors, 

and large refrigeration units.
Steel & Metallurgical Mills: Applied to blast furnace blowers and high-temperature gas turbine power generation (TRT) units.
