1768-ENBT Description

The 1768-ENBT is a communication adapter that supports Ethernet protocol. This module is part of the Bulleting 1768 

Product family that is compatible for use with 1768-L43 and 1768-L45 Programmable Controllers (PAC). It enables a 

rack to communicate with devices connected in the Ethernet I/P network. It may be used as communication interface 

to exchange data between Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Human Machine Interface (HMI) 

as well as communicate with partner controllers to implement inter-controller messaging functions.
The 1768-ENBT is supplied with One (1) Ethernet communication interface that support Fast Ethernet communication rate 

such as 10/100 Mbps with auto-negotiation capability. Connection may be established using a pre-made or custom 

assembled LAN cable which is typically made of a Cat5 or Cat6 cable and RJ45 connectors on both ends.
