The Woodward 701A digital speed controller offers superior speed control, with models specifically designed for
low- to high-speed diesel, gasoline, or spark-fuel engines (one actuator drives two sets of linkages, controlling the
gasoline fuel valve and diesel injection system separately).
The 701A controller uses a 16-bit microprocessor to implement all control functions. This controller features enhanced
control dynamics, enabling smooth and stable operation while maintaining a rapid response to changes in engine
speed and load.

Industrial generator sets: In the main or backup power stations, they are used to control the engine speed to ensure
a stable frequency output from the generator.
Ship propulsion system: Precisely control the operating speed of the ship's main engine (especially for medium-speed
engines below 500 rpm) to ensure safe and smooth navigation.

under different loads.
