Power Supply: Always use power supplies with limited power or NEC Class 2.
Cable Usage:
Use only the supplied MPI cable (0.3 m).
Do not use extension cords the adapter.
Isolation: The adapter is electrically isolated (SELV) and can be used on ungrounded systems.
▲Installation & Connection
Software Installation:
Install from the provided CD. If autorun is disabled, run setup.exe manually.
Supported OS: Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista.
PG/PC Interface Configuration:
Select the appropriate interface (e.g., PC Adapter (MPI)) in the PG/PC interface settings.
Set the connection type to USB in the properties.
Connection Procedure:
Connect the USB cable to the PC and the adapter.
Connect the MPI cable between the adapter and the CPU or PROFIBUS connector.
For networks with more than two nodes, connect to the PG socket of a PROFIBUS connector.
