Product Overview
This gateway provides a robust bridge between Modbus Plus and up to four Modbus serial networks.
It operates as a stand-alone DIN-rail mounted unit, capable of functioning as a Master or Slave on both network types.
The device offers high flexibility with individually configurable serial ports and supports a wide range of Modbus function codes.
It is designed for reliable operation in industrial environments with wide-range power input and signal isolation.
Function: Protocol gateway connecting a Modbus Plus network to Modbus serial devices.
Modbus Plus Port: 1x DB9 Female port; configurable as Master or Slave; Node Address: 1 to 64.
Modbus Serial Ports: 4x serial ports; each individually configurable as Master or Slave, RTU or ASCII.
Modbus Master Capability: Up to 100 commands per master port; configurable polling (continuous or on-data-change).
Modbus Slave Capability: Node Address: 1 to 247.
Serial Communication Parameters: Baud rate from 110 to 115,200; Data bits: 7 or 8; Stop bits: 1 or 2; Parity: None, Even, Odd.
Power Supply: 24 VDC nominal (18-36 VDC range); 500 mA max.
Operating Temperature: -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F).
Relative Humidity: 5% to 95% (non-condensing).
Dimensions (Extended Model): 13.2 cm H x 6.93 cm W x 11.48 cm D (5.20" H x 2.73" W x 4.52" D).
