The lCS Triplex T8311C is a Trusted TMR Expander Interface module. lt isdesigned to provide the interface
between the Controller Chassis and theExpander Chassis in a TrustedTM system. The T831lC is a triple modul are
dundant (TMR) module, meaning that it has three independent processorsthat execute the same program in parallel.
This provides fault tolerance andensures that the system remains operational even if one processor fails.
The T8311C is T2V Certified lEC 61508 SlL 3, meaning that it has beenindependently tested and certified to meet the
highest safety standards. lt isalso certified to EN 50128 TUV Rheinland.
