Function: Monitors the health of system power supplies and alerts the controller to failures.
Compatible Carriers: Controller Carrier (e.g., 8750-CA-NS), ELFD Controller Carrier
Monitoring Capacity (from ELFD doc): Can monitor the health of up to two 8913-PS-AC,
four 8914-PS-AC power supplies and the 12V supply to Intrinsically Safe Modules.
Monitoring Capacity (from 8750 doc): Can monitor up to seven system power supplies in the node
(up to six 2/2 power supplies plus one 2/1 power supply).
Required Configuration: Unused power "health" terminal pairs on the carrier must be fitted with a shorting link
to prevent a false alarm. If a Railbus Isolator (8922-RB-IS) is not used, a specific terminal pair (pair 9 on the 8750 carrier)
must also be fitted with a shorting link.
