theobserved conductive surface and can measure both static(position)and dynamic (vibration) values. The system'
sprimary applications are vibration and positionmeasurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well asKeyphasor
reference and speed measurements3.The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advancedperformance in our eddy
current proximity transducersystems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the
American Petroleum institute's (APl)670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and
temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mmproximity transducer systems provide this level ofperformance and support
complete interchangeability ofprobes,extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminatingthe need to match or bench
calibrate individual components.
