shaft position, runout, and displacement in critical rotating machinery. The probe is widely used in machinery protection
and condition monitoring systems for turbines, compressors, motors, pumps, generators, and other high-value rotating
assets.
The 83607-00-96-05-02 features a fully threaded probe body with a 96 mm overall case length, allowing flexible installation
in machinery housings where extended probe reach is required. The probe utilizes non-contact sensing technology to
provide highly accurate shaft movement measurements without mechanical wear, ensuring long-term reliability and
stable performance. Similar Bently Nevada probe coding indicates that the 96 option corresponds to a 96 mm overall
case length, while the 05 option designates a 0.5 m cable assembly with a miniature coaxial connector.
