The 1746-OB16 output module, excels in facilitating control systems. With a total of 16 outputs grouped together
for streamlined functionality, this module is rated for a voltage of 24V DC, ensuring compatibility with many signal
output requirements. The operational voltage range extends from 10V to a maximum of 50V DC, providing flexibility in
various applications.
In terms of performance, the module has a heat dissipation rating of 0.388 watts per individual output point, accumulating
to a total output heat dissipation of 7.6 watts across the module. It has a minimum heat dissipation requirement of 1.4
watts, ensuring appropriate thermal management during operation.
Backplane current consumption is specified at 0.28 Amps when operating at 5V DC, with no current draw at 24V DC. When
it comes to response times, users can expect a signal delay of 0.1 milliseconds when switching on and 1 ms for
switch-off under maximum resistive load conditions. The maximum off-state leakage is recorded at 1 mA, while the
module requires a minimum load current of 1 mA. Additionally, the maximum voltage drop in the on-state is limited to
1.2 volts when subjected to a current of 0.5 Amps.
