The 150-F25NBRD controller is an SMC-Flex motor controller that is designed and manufactured . It specializes in
braking control, which is one of the ways in which it controls industrial motors. Braking control is an enhanced
performance control option that is well-suited for applications that require short stopping times. The 150-F25NBRD
controller provides braking control through a microprocessor that is part of it, and the controller does not need any
additional equipment or accessories to provide braking control successfully. The current that this control method uses
can be adjusted anywhere between 0% and 400% of the motor’s full load current. Although braking control is designed
for quick stopping, it should not be used as an emergency stop method.
