The Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-SOT3-EX1.LB is an extremely reliable switching amplifier (isolation barrier). It is
widely used in industrial systems to interface NAMUR sensors or dry contacts with control systems such as
PLCs and DCS.
This KFD2-SOT3-EX1.LB module provides galvanic isolation, ensuring safe operation in explosive environments
while maintaining signal integrity. With integrated line fault detection (LFD) and support for SIL 2 safety applications,
it is ideal for safety-critical processes in industries such as oil & gas, chemical processing, and power generation.

Petroleum and natural gas industry (refining, extraction): Connect NAMUR sensors in high-concentration flammable
and explosive gas environments to monitor valve positions, flow rates, and switch states of pipelines.
