Honeywell FC-IOTA-NR24 Description
The Honeywell FC-IOTA-NR24 is a Redundant I/O Termination Assembly (IOTA) designed for use within the Honeywell
C300 and Experion PKS process control systems. It serves as a termination base for connecting field wiring to I/O
modules, specifically supporting redundant I/O configurations.
This IOTA facilitates high system availability by allowing two I/O modules (primary and secondary) to be mounted
for redundancy, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a primary module failure. It supports 24 VDC
operation and enables hot-swappable functionality, which is critical in mission-critical and safety-focused
industrial environments such as oil & gas, refining, power generation, and chemical processing.
