The Low Level Analog Input (LLAI) Module supports up to 16 RTD and thermocouple (TC) channels for precise
temperature measurement. It features Open Sensor Detect (OTD) to prevent invalid process variable (PV) values
from triggering inappropriate control actions. During OTD cycles, PVs are sampled and held without added delays,
ensuring reliable and continuous system operation while detecting and signaling input channel soft failures when necessary.
