General Electric UR7KH is a Communications Module intended for installation in the Universal Relays series.
It enables interrelay communication with other UR units, replacing traditional copper hardwiring that is particularly
expensive. This version of the UR7KH module offers the relay two communication channels, both 1300 nm,
single-mode, LASER channels.
The UR7KH communication channels delivered by the module allow information to be transferred quickly and securely.
The relay is capable of monitoring the system’s channels and checking for system health.
Product Applications
Power System: Used for substation , to achieve real-time data exchange between protection relays, control equipment
and the upper-level computer monitoring system (SCADA).
Energy and Power Generation: In the control networks of gas turbines (such as GE 7F or 7HA series) and wind
power generation systems, to ensure the safe monitoring of power transmission.
Petroleum and Chemicals: In the power distribution systems of large petrochemical plants, as a key communication
core, it supports industrial applications and ensures the continuous operation of production lines.
