The TK-3E Proximity System Test Kit simulates shaft vibrationand position for calibrating Bently Nevada monitors. it
verifiesthe operating condition of the monitor readouts as well asthe condition of the proximity transducer system.
A properlycalibrated system ensures that the transducer inputs and theresulting monitor readings are accurate.
The TK-3E uses a removable spindle micrometer assembly tocheck the transducer system and position monitorcalibration.
This assembly features a universal probe mountthat will accommodate probe diameters from 5 mm to 19mm (0.197 in to
0.75 in). The mount holds the probe while theuser moves the target toward or away from the probe tip incalibrated
increments and records the output from theProximitor Sensor using a voltmeter. The spindle micrometerassembly also
features a convenient magnetic base for easeof use in the field.
