Product Notes

▲Installation & Mounting
Probe Gap: Ensure the probe is gapped between 0.5 mm and 1.75 mm from the target.  Incorrect gap may prevent full-scale output.
Thread Engagement: Do not exceed maximum thread engagement (e.g., 12 mm for M8x1, 15 mm for M10x1).  

Excessive engagement may cause binding.
Mounting: Use provided DIN rail clips or bulkhead screws.  Ensure secure mounting to prevent vibration-induced damage.
▲Electrical Connections
Power Supply: Use a +12 to +35 Vdc power source.  Verify polarity to avoid damage.
Loop Resistance: Do not exceed 1,000 Ω total loop resistance (including wiring).  

Use Figure 8 to verify operating region based on supply voltage.
Wiring: Use shielded, twisted-pair cable (e.g., 1.0 mm² / 18 AWG).  Ground the shield at the transmitter end only.
PROX OUT Signal: This output is non-isolated.  Use the 990/991 Test Adapter when connecting to 

AC-powered test equipment to prevent false alarms and ensure signal isolation.
