    Bently NevadaTM Seismoprobe Velocity Transducer Systemsare designed to measure absolute (relative 

    to free space)bearing housing, casing, or structural vibration. The two-wiresystems consist of a transducer 

    and appropriate cable.
    The Seismoprobe family of velocity transducers is a two-wiredesign that uses moving-coil technology. It provides 

    avoltage output directly proportional to the transducer'svibration velocity.
    Moving-coil transducers are less sensitive to impact orimpulsive excitation than solid-state velocity transducers,

    which are inherently accelerometers with embeddedintegration electronics.


    Product Applications

    Electric power industry: Widely used for vibration monitoring of bearing seats in gas turbines, steam turbines 

    and power generation units. Due to the extremely high operating temperature of gas turbines, the high-temperature 

    resistance feature of this sensor is of crucial importance.
    Oil and gas: Used for mechanical protection and condition monitoring of large centrifugal compressors, pump sets 

    and industrial turbines.
    Aerospace: In some engine test benches or ground power devices, it is used to monitor structural vibrations in 

    high-temperature areas.
    Steel and heavy industry: Applied to heavy rotating equipment in high-temperature and harsh environments, such 

    as large fans and heat exchange equipment.
