The design of the PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer Assemblyis similar to our 31000/32000 Proximity
Probe HousingAssemblies.The assembly offers the same advantages andfeatures as the 31000 and 32000
housings for accessing andexternally adjusting proximity probes. However, the housingcover of the PROXPAC XL
Assembly also contains its own 3300XL Proximitor sensor. This design makes the PROXPAC XLAssembly a completely
self-contained proximity probesystem, and eliminates the need for an extension cablebetween the probe and its
associated Proximitor sensor. ltalso eliminates the need for a separate Proximitor housing, asthe field wiring connects
directly between the monitors andPROXPAC XLAssemblies.
Product Applications
Oil and Gas: Used for monitoring the shaft vibrations of centrifugal compressors and turbines in oil refineries and
liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants.
Electricity Industry: Monitoring the rotor positions of large steam turbines, gas turbines, and generators in thermal
power plants and nuclear power plants.
Petrochemical/Chemical: Monitoring the operation health of key rotating equipment such as large pump sets and axial
flow fans in fertilizer plants or plastic plants.
Water Treatment and Mining: Used for monitoring high-load rotating components of large pumps and large grinding
