The part number 330880-28-15-027-00-02 corresponds to a Bently Nevada PROXPAC XL Proximity
Transducer Assembly.
This device combines a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe and a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor into a single
housing (PROXPAC), eliminating the need for an extension cable between the probe and sensor.
The PROxPAC XL housing is made of Polyphenylene Sulfide(PPS), which is an advanced, molded thermoplastic.
Thismaterial replaces the steel and aluminum in previoushousings offered in the Bently Nevada product line.
It alsoincorporates glass and conductive fibers in the PPs tostrengthen the housing and more effectively
dissipateelectrostatic charges. The PROXPAC XL housing is rated forType 4x and for IP66 environments and
provides extraprotection in severe environments.
Product Applications
Oil and Gas: Used for monitoring the shaft vibration and shaft displacement of centrifugal and axial-flow
compressors, expanders, and key pump sets.
Electric Power Industry: Installed on steam turbines, gas turbines, and hydro turbines, it provides real-time
monitoring of the thermal growth (displacement) and radial vibration of the rotors.
Petrochemical Industry: Used for measuring the speed and phase reference (Keyphasor) of motors and large
rotating equipment in high-temperature and corrosive environments.
