The 3300 XL 8 mm system delivers the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. 

The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system alsofully complies with the American Petroleum Institute's (APi)670 Standard 

for mechanical configuration, linear range,accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mmproximity transducer 

systems provide this level ofperformance and support complete interchangeability ofprobes, extension cables, and 

Proximitor sensors, eliminatingthe need to match or bench calibrate individual components.
Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component isbackward compatible and interchangeable4 with other non-XL 

3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer systemcomponents5. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mmprobe, for 

applications in which an 8 mm probe is too largefor the available mounting space6,7.

Electric power industry:
Thermal/nuclear power generation: Monitoring the bearing vibration and axial position of large steam turbine 

generators, excitation machines, and feedwater pumps.
Hydroelectric power generation: Monitoring the main shaft deflection, axial thrust, and the condition of upper/lower 

guide bearings of hydroelectric power generators.
Wind power generation: Used for abnormal vibration monitoring of gearboxes and main shafts of high-power wind 

power generators.
Oil and gas industry:
Upstream extraction and transportation: Monitoring the operating status of large natural gas compressors, crude 

oil transportation pumps, and gas turbines.
Refining and chemical industry: Applied to core rotating equipment such as ethylene cracking gas compressors,
