The 21000,24701, and 164818 Proximity Probe HousingAssemblies are available with Canadian Standards
Association (CsA) approvals. They are rated explosion prooffor hazardous areas.
You can order hazardous area approvedproximity probes with 21000 aluminum and24701 stainless steel
housings for intrinsicallysafe applications. Both housings are certifiedas CSA Type 4 enclosures and are fully
compliant with the American PetroleumInstitute's (APl) 670 standard for externallymounted proximity probe housings.

Petrochemicals and Oil Refineries: Used for monitoring key centrifugal compressors and turbine-driven machines.
Large Power Plants (thermal, nuclear, hydroelectric): Monitor the axial displacement (Thrust) and radial v
