The 21000, 24701, and 164818 Proximity Probe HousingAssemblies consist of the following parts:
A dome cover that screws into the body of the housingThreaded ports for conduit connections
A probe sleeve of optional length
O-rings
A reverse mount proximity probeA thread seal
Optional conduit fittingsAn optional standoff adapter
The 21000, 24701, and 164818 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with Canadian StandardsAssociation
(CSA) approvals. They are rated explosion prooffor hazardous areas.
Product Applications
Oil and Gas (Refineries/Chemical Plants): Installed on the bearing housings of large centrifugal compressors,
reciprocating compressors, and high-pressure pumps, providing explosion-proof protection.
Coal and Hydropower Plants: Monitors shaft vibration, shaft displacement, and key phase (speed) of steam turbines,
gas turbines, and hydroelectric generator sets.
Heavy Industrial Manufacturing (Metallurgy/Cement Plants): Protects monitoring probes in continuously operating
