The Bently NevadatM 3500/70M Recip Impulse Velocity Monitoris a 4-channel device used as part of
the reciprocatingcompressor solutions package to monitor compressorcrankcase and crosshead vibration.
The monitor acceptsinput from seismic transducers, conditions the signal toderive vibration measurements,
and compares theconditioned signals with user-programmable alarms.You can program each channel using
the 3500 RackConfiguration Software to perform the following functions:

Reciprocating compressor monitoring: This is its core application, used to monitor the vibration of the casing, the impact
of the crosshead, and the movement status of the piston rod.
Natural gas booster station: In gas pipelines, it ensures the continuous operation safety of large reciprocating compressors
and prevents unplanned shutdowns due to mechanical failures.
Petrochemical
Process compressor protection: In refineries and chemical plants, reciprocating compressors usually handle
high-pressure, flammable or corrosive gases. This module can detect mechanical impacts in real time and
provide early warnings of severe mechanical loosening or component damage.
