The Bently NevadaTM 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor Module isa half-height, two-channel module used to provide
Keyphasor signals to the monitor modules in a 3500 rack. Themodule receives input signals from proximity probes
ormagnetic pickups and converts the signals to digitalKeyphasor signals that indicate when the Keyphasor mark onthe
shaft coincides with the Keyphasor transducer. The 3500Machinery Protection System can accept up to fourKeyphasor
signals for normal configuration and up to eightKeyphasor signals in a paired configuration.
When a system Keyphasor input is required for Triple ModularRedundant (TMR) applications, the 3500 system
shouldemploy two Keyphasor modules. In this configuration, themodules work in parallel to provide both a
primary andsecondary Keyphasor signal to the other modules in the rack.

generators, gas turbines, and water turbines (TSI system).
Petroleum and natural gas industry: Various compressors (centrifugal and axial flow types), pumps, and drive devices
in petrochemical plants, oil extraction platforms, and refineries.
Chemical industry: Centrifugal compressor units, agitators, and blowers in large chemical plants such as ammonia
synthesis and ethylene plants.
Metallurgical industry: Large high-speed transmission equipment such as blowers, oxygen generators, and steel rolling
units in steel mills.
