The ABB FLON-01 Adapter Module is an optional LonWorks® communication interface designed to integrate ABB
variable frequency drives (VFDs) into LonWorks fieldbus networks for building and industrial systems. It enables
seamless communication between the drive and LonWorks® controllers, allowing centralized supervision and control
of drive functions. The module includes both a node object and a drive object — the node object manages network
identity and control, while the drive object implements the LonMark® Functional Profile: Variable Speed Motor Drive,
version 1.1, ensuring interoperability with other LonWorks-certified devices on the network.
