The ABB FDCO‑01 Communication Module is a dedicated industrial communication interface designed to enable
high‑speed, reliable data exchange between controllers, drives, and distributed systems. It is part of ABB’s DDCS
(Distributed Drives Communication System) options for drive and control platforms such as ACS and industrial drive
families. The FDCO‑01 module plugs into a designated communication slot on the drive control unit and extends the
system’s connectivity by supporting optical or wired communication channels at 10 Mbaud per channel, facilitating robust
and synchronized communication across complex networks.
