circuits, disconnector control circuits, and signaling loops. By forcing a small measuring current through the 

supervised loop, it quickly identifies abnormal conditions including open circuits, poor or welded contacts, and 

loss of auxiliary DC supply. When a fault is detected, the relay signal changes state, allowing alarm activation or 

coordinated protective action to prevent equipment damage and maintain system reliability.
