The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System includes the following components:
One 3300 XL 8 mm probe,
One 3300 XL extension cable, and
One 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor.
This system generates an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. It is capable of measuring both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. Its primary applications include vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system represents the most advanced performance in eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard, meeting requirements for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability.
All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems deliver this high level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors. This eliminates the need for matching or bench calibrating individual components, ensuring ease of use and maintenance.
