The 150-F251NBRD is a solid-state soft starter from the SMC-Flex series, designed for reliable and controlled starting
and stopping of three-phase induction motors. Built for medium-to-large motor applications, this model provides
smooth acceleration, reduced mechanical stress, and optimized electrical performance.
Product Applications
Mining and Quarrying: Widely used in crushers, ball mills, and large belt conveyors. The soft starter provides smooth
starting torque, prevents belt slippage or tearing, and reduces impact on the power grid.
Water and Wastewater Treatment: Used to drive various centrifugal pumps and sewage pumps. Through built-in pump
control algorithms, it effectively eliminates the "water hammer" effect in pipelines, protecting pipeline safety.
Fans and HVAC: Suitable for large centrifugal fans, induced draft fans, and blowers. The soft start avoids the
enormous mechanical stress caused by full-voltage motor starting and reduces belt wear.
